What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
These are used for contact puposes only.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
We will keep your data as long as you are using our services but no longer than 3 years if you have ceased to use them. You can notify us at anytime if you wish us to remove your data by contacting us via the above details.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. When you are completing any forms on our website or electronic devices you will be asked whether you wish your information to be used for marketing, information only or both. Information will include a reminder being sent for any appointments that you have made by email or text, you may opt out of these services if you wish. In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller buyer and if Vita Skin Spa sells substantially all its assets customer personal data will be one of the assets transferred.
Access to your personal data:
You may request details of any information we may hold about you under the General Data Protection Regulation 2018. We will remove your information at no charge within 30 days of your request.
If at anytime you believe the data we hold about you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint about how we have handled your personal data please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and the matter will be investigated. If you are not satisfied with our response or you believe we are processing your data in a manner that is not in accordance with the law you may complain to the Information Commissioners Office at ico.org.uk.
